Submissions- Novel submissions should include a cover letter, synopsis, and first three chapters. Submissions should be in standard manuscript format, and sent as an attachment in .doc or .rtf format to submissions[at]gryphonwoodpress.com . Advance and Royalties- Gryphonwood does not pay an advance against royalties, but makes quarterly royalty payments. Authors receive 40% of the net proceeds of all sales. Availability- Gryphonwood titles are registered with Books-in-Print and the Library of Congress, and are provided with an ISBN number. Books are available through all major online retailers, and are available to be stocked, fully returnable, in bookstores. As a new publisher, our emphasis at this time is on online sales. Wholesale Orders- Gryphonwood titles are available through Ingram's US and UK catalogsand Baker and Taylor's wholesalers, or directly from Gryphonwood Press. No minimum order and no minimum per-title order. Gryphonwood books are returnable. Copyright- The author retains all rights to the work. Gryphonwood purchases the rights to print, promote, sell and distribute said title for a designated period of time.
